Correction

A story in DCN on Jan. 12 (“WSIB<0x2008>fines two construction employers”) contained incorrect information released by the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB).

Clarkson Construction Company Ltd. of Oakville, Ont., did not plead guilty to seven charges of knowingly making a false or misleading statement or representation to the WSIB.

The firm pleaded guilty to three charges of failing to provide information concerning its employees’ workplace injuries and was ordered to pay fines totaling $55,000.

The WSIB says it apologizes for the administrative error.
