Work that began last May on the expansion and upgrades to the Stone Road Mall in Guelph, Ont. is moving along. General contractor/construction manager McKay-Cocker Construction Ltd. expects completion of the 51,000-square-foot project soon. The owner is Oxford Properties and architect for the project is Pellow & Associates Architects Inc. Consultants are: Read Jones Christoffersen Ltd. (structural); R. Saldanha & Associates Inc. (mechanical); Hammerschlag & Joffe Inc. (electrical); and Bomar Landscaping Inc. Subtrades include: Classic Excavating/Bell Air Excavating and Grading; Drillco Foundation Co. Ltd. (shoring/caissons); ArtFORMS International Inc. (formwork); Harris Rebar (rebar supply); Victoria Steel Corp. (structural steel); Lafarge Canada Inc. (concrete supply); J.D. Masonry; Nelco Mechanical; O’Connor Electric; Schreiber Brothers Ltd. (roofing); and Capital Paving Inc.
