LAKEVIEW PROGRESS

General contractor Kenaidan Contracting Ltd. began the addition of an incinerator and the expansion of the existing plant last May. Completion of contract 8 is scheduled for May 2006 and contract 9 will be finished February 2006. The architect is Carruthers, Shaw & Partners. Consultants are KMK Consultants and Black & Veatch Consulting Engineers. Subcontractors include: H & S Equipment (excavating); Deep Foundations Contractors Inc.; M.J.R. Contracting (formwork); Gilbert Steel Ltd.; Architectural Precast Systems Inc.; Tresman Industries (structural steel); Ontario Redimix Ltd.; Bernel Masonry; Glover-Hill (mechanical-contract 8); Comstock Canada (mechanical-contract 9); Metric Electric East (electrical-contract 8); Lexsan Electric Ltd. (electrical-contract 9); Fibergrate-Stonhard (flooring); Toronto Glass & Aluminum Ltd. (windows); A.M.A. Roofing & Sheet Metal Inc.; Infilco Degremont Inc. (incinerator equipment-contract 9); Watech (marine work); Vision Almet (misc metals); and Pylon Paving (1996) Ltd.
