Concrete pouring continues for Lester B. Pearson Place non-profit housing project at 53 Cummer Avenue in Toronto. General contractor The Atlas Corporation began the four-storey building in February and completion is scheduled for July 2006. The project was designed by Perkins Eastman Black Architects Inc. Consultants are Millennium Engineering (structural) and Jain & Associates Ltd. (mechanical/electrical). Subcontractors include: Oak Site Preparation Inc. (excavation); Harris Omer (rebar supply); Teskey Concrete Co. Ltd. (concrete supply); Municipal Mechanical Contractors Ltd.; Nortown Electrical Contractors Associates (electrical); and Schindler Elevators Corp.
