Construction is ongoing for the Jazz Residences by Concert rental project at 167 Church Street in Toronto. Developer Concert Properties Ltd. along with general contractor Deltera Contracting Inc. expects the 28-storey, 388-unit building to be completed by next Spring. The work will include four levels of underground parking, a fitness club, a theatre, ground floor retail and more.
The Project Team
The Jazz Residences by Concert was designed by Burka Varacalli Architects. Consultants are: Jablonsky, Ast & Partners (structural); M.V. Shore Associates (1993) Ltd. (mechanical/electrical); NAK Design Group (landscape); and E.R.A. Architects Inc. (heritage). Subcontractors include: Priestly Demolition Inc.; Clifford Restoration Ltd.; Anpro Excavating & Grading; Anchor Shoring & Caissons Ltd.; CIP Structures (formwork); Harris Rebar; Global Precast Ltd.; Roman Metal Fabricating Ltd. (structural steel); Newtech Iron Works Inc. (misc. metals); Dufferin Concrete; Gottardo Masonry Ltd.; Primo Mechanical Inc.; Cooltech Air Systems Ltd. (HVAC): Nortown Electrical Contractors Associates; Toro Aluminum (windows); Viana Roofing & Sheet Metal Ltd; and ThyssenKrupp Elevator Ltd.
