Construction software firm sold for $23.5M

YORBA LINDA, Calif.

Information Technology services provider NetGuru Inc. has agreed to sell its Research Engineers International Business to privately held Bentley Systems Inc. for $23.5 million US in cash.

The company, which makes software for civil and structural engineering, said the sale also includes its structural analysis and design product line, software and product development, customer support and business offices in Yorba Linda, the United Kingdom, Kolkata, India and in other parts of Europe and Asia.

Bentley Systems is based in Exton, Pa., and makes software for the architecture engineering and construction markets.
