Condo Cranes

Cranes continue to swing at the Port Royal Place Phase II condominium project in Etobicoke, Ont. Project manager Saddlebrook Management Consultants Inc. began the two towers late last year and completion is expected next spring. One tower will be 16-storeys with 140 units and the other 12-storeys with 149 units. Three levels of underground parking will connect the two towers. Owner and developer is Port Royal Place (Phase V Developments Inc.) The Port Royal Place Phase II was designed by Burka Varacalli Architects. Consultants are: Adjeleian Allen Rubeli Ltd. (structural); TeGi Engineering Inc. (mechanical/electrical); and NAK Design (landscape). Subtrades include: Michael Bros. Excavating; Deep Foundations Contractors Inc. (shoring/caissons); Forma-con (formwork); Harris Rebar; Dufferin Concrete; Primo Mechanical Inc.; Cooltech Services Ltd. (HVAC); Ozz Corporation (electrical); and ThyssenKrupp Elevator.
