Exterior work continues for the Bentall Maple Leaf Consumer Foods new office building on Financial Dr. in Mississauga, Ont. EllisDon Design-Build Inc. began the 5-storey building with mechanical penthouse in July and completion is expected in late 2006. The Bentall Maple Leaf Consumers Foods office was designed by Adamson Associates Architects. Consultants are: Stephenson Engineering Ltd. (structural); Sprint Insight Inc. (design-build mechanical/electrical); and Baker Turner Inc. (landscape). Subcontractors include: Metric Contracting Services Co. (excavation); XDG Ltd. (formwork); Harris Omer (rebar supply); Tresman Steel Industries Ltd. (structural steel); Innocon Inc. (concrete supply); Kappeler Masonry; C H Fire Suppression Systems Inc. (sprinklers/fire protection); Barrie Glass & Mirror Ltd. (windows); Bothwell-Accurate Co. Ltd. (roofing); Kone Inc. (elevators); and Pylon Paving (1996) Inc.
