Belleville racetrack facility gets the nod
TORONTO
Belleville Racetrack Development Corporation (BRDC) has received confirmation for a proposed Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation gaming premises at the new Quinte Exhibition and Raceway in Belleville, Ont.
“Our development team has continued to refine our site and building plans for the new racetrack facility and we look forward to working with the OLGC to finalize these plans and begin the construction phase of the development,” said Graham Simmonds, President and CEO of Baymount Incorporated, which owns BRDC.
BRDC has an agreement with the Belleville Agricultural Society to build a facility to relocate the Quinte Exhibition and Raceway, one of 18 racetrack licences in Ontario eligible to participate in Ontario’s Slots-at-Racetracks program.
