Bloorview Progress
LENSCAPE INC.
Work continues for the Bloorview MacMillan Children’s Rehabilitation Centre at 350 Rumsey Rd. in Toronto. General contractor EllisDon Corp. started the five-storey centre with penthouse in January 2004 and completion is scheduled for August.
The Project Team
The Bloorview MacMillan Children’s Rehabilitation Centre was designed by Montgomery Sisam Architects Inc. and Dunlop Architects Inc. in a joint venture. Consultants are: Yolles Partnership Inc. (structural); H.H. Angus & Associates Ltd. (mechanical/electrical); Vertechs Design Inc. (landscape). Subcontractors include: Matt’s Excavating; EllisDon Forming; Salit Steel (rebar supply); Quest Steel Inc.; St. Marys CBM (concrete supply); Lockerbie & Hole Contracting Ltd. (mechanical); The Plan Group (electrical); Windsor Glass; Castlewall (tile); Flynn Canada Ltd. (roofing); and Fujitec Canada Inc. (elevators).
