Air Duct Assembly

Workers prepare air ducts for The Meridian Residences condominiums at Yonge Street and Finch Avenue in North York, Ont. Tridel Corp., along with Hullmark Developments, began the 31-storey, 406-unit building with a three-level podium and ten townhomes in April 2005. Completion has been scheduled for Spring 2007. The work includes indoor/outdoor water features, a pool/whirlpool/sauna, fitness centre, billiards/card room, a party room, a golf simulator and more. There will also be two-levels of underground parking, two-levels above ground, second floor office space and ground floor retail.
The Project Team
The Meridian Residences was designed by Rafael + Bigauskas Architect Inc. Consultants are: Sigmund Soudack & Associates (structural); A + G Engineering Ltd. (mechanical/electrical); and MBTW Group (landscape). Subtrades include: Magine General Contractors Inc. (excavation); Rumble Foundations (Ontario) Ltd. (shoring/caissons); Consolidated 2000 Inc. (formwork); Global Precast; Teskey Concrete; Venice Masonry; Primo Mechanical Inc. (mechanical/fire protection); Belmar Ventilation Systems Inc.; Speedy Electric Contractor Inc.; Toro Aluminum Ltd. (windows); and ThyssenKrupp Elevator Ltd.
