Lavalin secures contract

CALGARY

SNC-Lavalin has been awarded a turnkey contract by Saudi Aramco to design and build the Shaybah Central Processing Facilities, which form the core project within the Shaybah Expansion Program in Saudi Arabia. These facilities include a gas/oil separation plant, gas compression facilities and utilities.

The Shaybah Expansion Program is a strategic project for Saudi Aramco, intended to boost Saudi Arabia’s oil production capacity. This facility will increase the field’s production capacity from 500,000 barrels of Arabian Extra Light crude oil per day to 750,000 barrels per day.
