One Advondale Site

Work continues outside for One Avondale Lofts & Piede Terre in Avondale in North York, Ont. Owner/developer Shane Baghai Group of Com. began the work in November 2004 and completion is scheduled for sometime this spring. The project includes a 20-storey loft with a seven-storey Piede Terre and will have a total of 179 units. There will also be four levels of parking. The project was designed by Rafael Bigauskas Architects. Consultants are: Adjeleian Allen Rubeli Ltd. (structural); TeGi Engineering (mechanical/electrical): and MBTW Group (landscape). Subtrades include: Coreydale Contracting Co. (excavation); Deep Foundations Contractors Ltd. (shoring/caissons); Resform Construction Ltd. (formwork); Salit Steel (rebar supply); Res Precast Inc.; St. Marys CBM (concrete supply); Res Masonry; University Plumbing & Heating Ltd.; Centennial Electric Ltd.; Quest Window Systems Inc.; Pro Tech Roofing Waterproofing Ltd.; and ThyssenKrupp Elevator Ltd.
