New media centre
PITTSBURGH
Cox Broadcasting Company has selected AZCAR for the design, equipment procurement and technical construction of a new studio facility and digital media centre for WPXI and Pittsburgh Cable News Channel (PCNC) in Pittsburgh.
The studio facilities will move from the decades old Television Hill transmitter site to a new building in 2007.
The new broadcast studios will be housed in a 70,000 square foot building on a 14 acre tract of land in Pittsburgh. The transmitter and tower will remain on Television Hill.
