Innovation has its rewards in TIPTA
TORONTO
The Toronto Construction Association is inviting applicants for the 13th Temple W. Harris Innovative Product/Technology Award (TIPTA) competition.
TIPTA has been awarded to architects, engineers, contactors and manufacturers for innovation and creativity in the construction industry, since 1994.
The award recognizes and encourages excellence for innovative thinking in creating and introducing new and advanced technologies into the construction marketplace.
This year’s winner will be awarded more than $14,000 in prizes such as: advertising in the Toronto Construction News, a year subscription to Daily Commercial News, free exhibition place at the next Construct Canada Show, and a year’s membership for the Toronto Construction Association.
Applicants must be a Construct Canada/PM Expo/Homebuilder & Renovator Expo/Concrete Canada exhibitor for 2006.
The award will be presented at the Toronto Construction Association Christmas luncheon.
The application deadline for the 2006 TIPTA competition is September 11.
