Office and Retail Project
HOWARD MANDEL
Construction progresses for the Liberty Square office and retail project in Markham, Ont. Darcon Inc. is construction manager for the project that includes one five-storey and one 12-storey building. The project was designed by Page & Steele Inc. and the owner is Liberty Development Corp. Consultants are: NCK Engineering Ltd. (structural); and Able Engineering (mechanical/electrical). Subtrades include: Rumble Foundations (excavation); Verdi/Alliance/Premform (formwork); C + T Reinforcing Steel (rebar supply); Dufferin Concrete; B. Gottardo (masonry); Primo Mechanical; Speedy Electric; Global Architectural Metals (curtainwall); and Kone Elevators/ThyssenKrupp Elevator Ltd.
