Inquests called

TORONTO

Inquests have been called into the deaths of two construction workers in separate incidents.

Enrico Caringi died on Aug. 22, 2002 of injuries sustained at a construction site in Toronto when a cap blew off a pressurized waterline and struck him. The inquest is expected to last one week.

Sergio Morassutti died on March 27, 2003, from injuries received during the course of his employment at a construction site in Toronto. The inquest will review the circumstances surrounding Morassutti’s death and will explore issues relating to scaffold safety at construction sites. The inquest is expected to last one week.
