Cobourg plastics centre

COBOURG, ON

Construction is set to begin on a new $700,000 plastics technology centre to promote innovative research in Cobourg.

The Centre for Manufacturing Innovation for Advanced Polymers Technology (CMI) at GE Canada will focus on turning innovative discoveries into marketable technology. The Centre will also provide space for training and educational opportunities.

The CMI’s first project will be to develop a GE Plastics Manufacturing facility in Northumberland County.
