Mall Medical Building

Structural steel takes shape for the Agincourt Mall Medical Building at Kennedy Rd. and Sheppard Ave. in Scarborough, Ont. Vanbots Construction Corp. began the six-storey building in January and completion has been scheduled for next February. There will also be one level of underground parking and ground floor retail.
The Project Team
The project was designed by Turner Fleischer Architects Inc. Consultants are CPE Structural Consultants Ltd. and TeGi Engineering (mechanical/electrical). Subtrades include: Blu-Mar Excavating & Grading Ltd.; Rumble Foundations (Ontario) Ltd. (shoring/caissons); Alliance Forming Ltd.; Gilbert Steel (rebar supply); Tri-Krete Ltd. (precast); Linesteel Ltd. (structural steel); Rom-Tal Mechanical Inc.; Metric Electric Contractors Ltd.; Flynn Canada Ltd. (roofing); Bothwell-Accurate Co. Ltd. (waterproofing); and Kone Inc. (elevators).
