Public forum on proposed plant
JOHNSTOWN, ON
GreenField Ethanol hosted a Public Information Centre at the Johnstown Community Centre, in the Township of Edwardsburgh/Cardinal, to discuss its proposed ethanol production facility. The proposed facility would be located near the junction of Highway 401 and Highway 416, next to the railway tracks.
The meeting included a presentation by GreenField on the proposed facility, and local residents were informed of the environmental and planning approvals that will be sought. An opportunity was provided for those in attendance to ask questions of GreenField on any topic.
GreenField Ethanol is currently building an ethanol facility in Varennes, Quebec.
