RFP bids in for Trillium expansion projects
TORONTO
Infrastructure Ontario received bids from companies to build and finance the expansion and redevelopment of Trillium Health Centre — Mississauga and Trillium Health Centre —West Toronto.
The RFP to build and finance the project was issued on June 16, 2006.
The bids will be evaluated to select a contractor for the expansion and redevelopment. The winning bidder will be named in early 2007, with construction scheduled to begin shortly thereafter.
The project includes expansion of ambulatory surgical care facilities; redevelopment and expansion of the Urgent Care Centre; creation of a cancer detection and treatment facility; and expansion of a new south entrance.
