SNC-Lavalin lands copper job

MONTREAL

SNC-Lavalin has won a $35-million contract from Cobre Las Cruces SA for engineering, procurement and construction management services at a new copper processing plant near Gerena, Spain.

The plant will have a design capacity of 72,000 tonnes of copper per year by 2008.
