Beef up nukes call
Greenpeace Canada says all Canada’s ageing nuclear reactors should be retrofitted to withstand a 9/11 style aircraft attack.
“It’s a well known secret Canada’s nuclear stations couldn’t withstand a September 11th type attack,” said Shawn-Patrick Stensil.
The Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission wants new reactors to be more robust but Greenpeace all plants being recertified to be retrofitted.
