Concrete pouring continues for the new Don Valley North Toyota Car Dealership in Markham, Ont. General contractor Dalar Contracting Ltd. began the three-storey facility last April and it will include one level of underground storage. The Don Valley North Toyota Dealership was designed by RH Carter Architects Inc. Consultants are: WM Leung & Associates Engineers Ltd. (structural); Novatrend Engineering Group Ltd. (mechanical); Mistry Engineering (electrical); and Cosburn Giberson Landscape Architect. Subcontractors include: Pro Caissons Ltd. (shoring/caissons); Outspan Concrete Structures Ltd. (formwork); Harris Rebar; Coreslab Structures (Ont.) Inc. (precast); Steelcon Fabrication Inc. (structural steel); Miller Concrete; Disal Contracting Ltd. (drywall); Structural Floor Finishing; Royal Concrete Encased Technologies (polymar encased walls); Mapleridge Mechanical Ltd.; Fitzpatrick Electrical Contractor Inc.; General Sprinklers Inc. (fire protection); Horizon Architectural Systems (siding); Sobotec Ltd. (aluminum composite panels); Modern Railings & Metalcraft Ltd. (misc. iron); Fairview Glass & Mirror Ltd. (windows); Dufferin Roofing Ltd.; and Kone Inc. (elevators).
