Dov and Armand Levy, owners of Beachfront Developments, have announced a $350 million redevelopment plan for a 10-hectate property in Wasaga Beach.
Developers plan huge waterfront development for Wasaga Beach
Wasaga Beach, ON
Wasaga Beach is getting a new look. A piece of property that started off as an ice cream parlour almost 20 years ago will blossom into a $350M development.
The 10-hectare vision of Dov and Armand Levy, two entrepreneurial brothers who own Beachfront Developments, includes seven hotels, condos, shops, 10 themed restaurants, bistros, a conference facility and a spa. The world’s longest freshwater beach will also have its famed downtown strip ripped out and replaced by a boardwalk.
Beachfront Developments is also planning Blue Planet, an extensive theme park offering year-round sports. Connected to this park will be a 400,000-square-foot mall. Parking for 8,000 cars will be situated three kilometres away and connected to the facility by monorail.
