Corporate Profile: Concord Pacific Group Inc. (formerly Concord Pacific Developments Corp.) is a private Canadian company established in 1987 for the purpose of purchasing and developing the former Expo 86 lands on False Creek’s north shore in downtown Vancouver, British Columbia. Concord Pacific was one of a number of companies that bid on these former industrial lands during an international competition and was successful in purchasing the property in May, 1988. This property was first acquired by the provincial government in the early 1980s as a site for BC Place Stadium and the 1986 World Exposition, Expo 86.
