Construction is ongoing for the University of Toronto Science Building addition at the Scarborough Campus. Eastern Construction is general contractor for the three-storey project that includes a 236-seat auditorium and PMX Inc. is project manager. The University of Toronto Science Building addition and landscaping was designed by Moriyama & Teshima Architects. Consultants are: Halcrow Yolles (structural); The Mitchell Partnership (mechanical); and Crossey Engineering (electrical). Subcontractors include: Blu-Mar Excavating & Grading; Pro Caissons; Alliance Forming Ltd; Gilbert Steel Ltd. (rebar supply); Benson Steel Ltd. (structural steel); St. Marys CBM (concrete supply); Squire Masonry Ltd.; Geo. A. Kelson Co. Ltd. (mechanical); Guild Electric Ltd.; General Sprinklers Inc. (fire protection); Global Architectural Metals Inc. (windows); Dean-Chandler Roofing Ltd.; and Kone Inc. (elevators).
