H & R Construction makes its way to the top at Royal York Grand condominiums

Work moves upward at the Royal York Grand condominiums at Royal York Road and Eglinton Avenue West in Etobicoke, Ontario.
H & R Construction Management is general contractor on the 15-storey, 216-unit Royal York Grand condominium project. Occupancy is scheduled to begin in March 2009.
The Royal York Grand was designed by Page + Steele Inc. for owner Tanana Investments Ltd.
Consultants are: Jablonsky Ast & Partners (structural); GPY + Associates Engineering (mechanical); and E-Lumen International Inc. (electrical).
Subcontractors include Anpro Environmental Group Inc. (excavation); Rumble Foundations Ltd. (shoring/caissons); Harris Rebar; Delgant Civil Ltd. (formwork); Tri-Krete Ltd. (precast) and VIP Metal Works (structural steel).
Other subcontractors on the job include Innocon Inc. (concrete supply); Di Rocco Masonry Group Ltd.; University Plumbing & Heating Ltd. (mechanical); Nortown Electrical Contractors Associates; Allan Windows Technologies Ltd. and CNIM Canada (elevators).
