York Region plans Keswick odour-control facility
York Region issued a Request for Pre-Qualifications on June 24, 2008 for consultants interested in engineering planning of the proposed Keswick Odour Control Facility. The request will close July 17, 2008 at 1 p.m.
Only consultants who participate in the pre-qualification will be invited to bid on a future Request for Proposals..
The Morton Avenue facility will be designed to neutralize odours coming from the sanitary sewer system in Keswick, including two existing forcemains and future forcemains in the area.
York Region will determine the cost, design and construction schedule after a consultant is hired.
