Construction moves along at the Rowe condominium project in Whitby, Ontario.

Davies-Smith crews pull together at waterfront Rowe condominium project

Davies-Smith Development Partnership began the 12-storey, 131-unit Rowe condominium project in July 2007. Completion is scheduled for February 2009.

Designed by Karp Namisniak Yamamoto Architects for owner Victoria Charles Inc., the work includes two levels of underground parking, grand lobby, rooftop amenities and resistance pool.

Consultants are Read Jones Christoffersen Ltd. (structural) and Able Engineering (mechanical/electrical).

Subtrades include Millenium Earthworks Inc. (sitework); Gilbert Steel Ltd. (rebar supply); Rockbase Forming (formwork); Global Precast; Model Railings & Ironworks (structural steel); Dufferin Concrete; Medi Group (masonry) and Select Drywall & Acoustic.

Other subtrades on the project include D. Zentil Mechanical; Speedy Electric Contractors Ltd.; Primeline Windows; C & A Tedesco Waterproofing Inc. (roofing); LSC Railings; ThyssenKrupp Elevator Ltd.; and C & A Tedesco (asphalt/paving).
