Construction has reached the roof of the Royal York Grand condominiums in Etobicoke, Ontario.
H & R reaches the rooftop at Royal York Grand condominium project
H & R Construction Management is general contractor for the 15-storey, 216-unit project. The building is situated near Royal York Road and Eglinton Avenue West.
Occupancy of the building is scheduled to begin in March 2009
The Royal York Grand was designed by Page + Steele Inc. for owner Tanana Investments Ltd.
Consultants are Jablonsky Ast & Partners (structural), GPY + Associates Engineering (mechanical) and E-Lumen International Inc.
Subcontractors include Anpro Environmental Group Inc. (excavation); Rumble Foundations Ltd. (shoring/caissons); Harris Rebar; Delgant Civil Ltd. (formwork) and Tri-Krete Ltd. (precast).
Also on the list of subcontractors are VIP Metal Works (structural steel); Innocon Inc. (concrete supply); Di Rocco Masonry Group Ltd.; University Plumbing & Heating Ltd. (mechanical); Nortown Electrical Contractors Associates; Allan Windows Technologies Ltd.; and CNIM Canada (elevators).
