Ontario General Contractors Association

OGCA offers Rescue 7 defibrillator service

The Ontario General Contractors Association has partnered with Rescue 7 to improve safety on all its member work sites.

This partnership has been described as “life saving” and results in Rescue 7 providing defibrillators and training to OGCA members and their employees, says the OGCA.

“This partnership fits our goals for promoting safety,” says Clive Thurston, president of OGCA.

All firms regardless of size and location will be able to obtain these easy-to-use life- saving machines for the office and for project sites.

Training of personnel will be available across Ontario either through general sessions or provided individually to any OGCA company.

Thurston says the OGCA would like to see the day where at any site there will be a person trained and able to use a defibrillator if it is needed in an emergency.

“This is a tremendous opportunity to add to any firm’s safety program,” adds Thurston.
