Work begins to take shape for the expansion to the Barrie Water Pollution Control Centre in Barrie, Ont.
Kenaidan keeps steady pace at Barrie Water Pollution Control Centre project
Kenaidan Contracting Ltd. is the general contractor on the Barrie Water Pollution Control Centre project.
The work consists of the addition of 16 process units, including one clarifier, two flash and flocculation tanks, and one primary digester tank.
The owner is The Corporation of the City of Barrie and the prime consultant is CH2M Hill Canada Ltd.
Subcontractors include Ragno Excavating Ltd.; Insitu Contractors Inc. (dewatering); James Donn Piling Ltd.; Kenadian Contracting Ltd. (formwork/concrete placing); Gilbert Steel Ltd.; The Sarjeant Co. Ltd. (concrete supply); Bernel Masonry; Glover-Hill Inc. (mechanical); J.M.R. Electric Ltd; and Vision Almet Ltd. (metals).
