ESA ready to deliver revised Ontario Electrical Safety Code on May 1, 2009

MISSISSAUGA Ont.

Ontario’s Electrical Safety Authority will be issuing the 24th Edition of the Ontario Electrical Safety Code (2009/24th Edition) on May 1, following provincial approval.

The edition contains 255 changes associated with the Ontario amendments and the 2009 Canadian Electrical Code.

Ted Olechna, Provincial Code Engineer, Electrical Safety Authority says “The (new) Ontario Electrical Safety Code reflects changes to industry standards that will positively impact public electrical safety and electrical installations in the Province of Ontario.”
