The Trump Tower in Toronto

Conduit work continues on the Trump International Hotel and Tower at 325 Bay Street in Toronto, Ont. Developer Talon International Development Inc. along with construction manager Lewis Builds Corp. have completion of the 60-storey project with 261 hotel guest rooms/suites and 118 condominium residences scheduled for spring 2011. The tower will have a five-star restaurant, a spa, gym, a conference centre and ground level parking. The project was designed by Zeidler Partnership Architects. Consultants are: Halcrow Yolles (structural); Hidi Rae Consulting Engineering Inc. (mechanical/electrical); II by IV Design (interior); and Starr Landscape Inc. Subtrades include: Aro Excavating Ltd.; Associated Structures Ltd. (formwork/foundation/precast concrete); CBM (concrete supply); Torsteel Co. Ltd. (structural steel); Limen Group Ltd. (masonry); OZZ Corp. (electrical); Vipond Inc. (sprinklers); Far East Aluminum Canada Corp. (exterior/glass/glazing); and Otis Canada Inc. (elevators).
