Boutique building takes shape in Toronto

Construction is moving along on Phase l of the Boutique condos in Toronto, Ont. Project/construction manager for the 16-storey, 333-unit project is Tucker HiRise and the owner is Simcoe Nelson Property Inc. The condo will have guest suites, five levels of underground parking and retail on the ground floor. The architect for the project is ZAS Architects Inc. Consultants are: Jablonsky, Ast & Partners (structural); United Engineering Ltd. (mechanical/electrical); Cecconi Simone Inc. (interior); and Ferris & Associates (landscape). Subtrades include: Aro Excavating Ltd.; Deep Foundations Contractors Inc. (shoring/caissons); Delgant (Civil) Ltd. (formwork); Canada Wide Reinforcing Steel; Innocon Inc. (concrete supply); Global Plumbing & Heating Ltd.; and Nortown Electrical Contractors Associates.
