Foam fill used on Utah highway construction
RE: Foam blocks replacing conventional fill material, DCN August 18
In the 90’s we used these foam blocks in the I-15 renovation project in Utah through Salt Lake City on dozens of overpasses and embankments. In Utah they were capped with a concrete lift for protection from fire, water, and petroleum.
