American Concrete Institute executive honoured with industry service award

The Ontario Concrete Awards committee has presented the concrete industry’s distinguished service award to Alain Belanger, longstanding secretary/treasurer of the Ontario chapter of the American Concrete Institute.

Belanger, who has held the position since 1987, has played a key role in organizing ACI conventions in Toronto in 1990 and 2000.

He is in charge of organizing the next such event in October, 2012.

Belanger, product manager at National Concrete Accessories, also is involved in arranging chapter dinner meetings, seminars and the annual golf tournament.
