Vanbots continues work on expansion of Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto

Work continues on the M-Wing Shell / P&G Fit-Up at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto. General contractor Vanbots, a division of Carillion Construction Inc., has completion of the project scheduled for summer 2010.
The work includes adding the shell of floors four through seven and a mechanical penthouse on floor eight.
The architects for the project are HDR Architecture Associates, Inc. / HOK Architects and Parkin Architects Ltd.
Consultants are Carruthers & Wallace Ltd. (structural) and H.H. Angus & Associates Ltd. (mechanical/electrical).
Subcontractors include: Groundworks Construction Co. Ltd. (excavation); Deep Foundations Contractors Inc. (shoring/caissons); Alliance Forming Ltd; Harris Rebar; M & G Steel Ltd. (structural steel); CBM (concrete supply); Village Masonry Construction Inc.; Darlington Steel (metal fabrications); Oakdale Drywall & Acoustics Ltd.; North Wood Carpet & Tile; Three Bell Painters; Terrazzo Mosaic & Tile Co. Ltd.; Geo. A. Kelson Co. Ltd. (mechanical); Guild Electric Ltd.; Ontario Electrical Construction Ltd. (fire alarm system); Gage Metal Cladding Ltd. (zinc roofing/steel deck); Flynn Canada Ltd. (metal siding/ roofing/ curtainwall/ skylights/ windows); and Kone Inc. (elevators).
