Project progress
Construction continues on Atira Women’s Resource Society housing project in Vancouver

An Atira Women’s Resource Society supportive housing project is taking shape in Vancouver, near GM Place. Van Mar Constructors Inc. is the general contractor on the project, which will include nine storeys above grade and one below.
The development will also include 108 housing units and commercial space at grade. A green roof is also part of the plan.
GBL Architects Inc. is the architect, while Durante Kreuk Ltd. is the landscape architect.
Consulting engineers on the project include John Bryson & Partners (structural), Stantec Consulting Ltd. (mechanical) and MMM Group Ltd. (electrical). LEED Gold certification is being sought.
