EllisDon continues construction on 18 York Street office building in Toronto

Construction is moving up on a new office building at 18 York Street in Toronto, Ont. EllisDon Corp. is construction manager for the 26-storey office, which includes three levels below-grade parking and ground floor retail space.
Completion has been scheduled for the end of 2011 and the project was designed by KPMB Architects.
Consultants are: Halcrow Yolles (structural); The Mitchell Partnership (mechanical); Mulvey & Banani International Inc. (electrical); Halsall Associates Ltd. (LEED) and Corban & Goode Landscape Architects. Subtrades include: Anpro Excavating & Grading Ltd.; Deep Foundations Contractors Inc.; Structform International Ltd. (formwork); Harris Rebar; Camino Modular Systems Inc. (flooring); Modern Niagara Toronto Inc. (mechanical); Guild Electric Ltd.; Antamex International Inc. (glass/glazing); Bothwell-Accurate Co. Ltd. (waterproofing); and Maple Terrazzo Marble & Tile Inc. (Stone, Ceramic & Terrazzo).
