Atco Structures acquires Woodgreen Homes & Trailer Sales

CALGARY

Atco Structures & Logistics, a subsidiary of Calgary-based conglomerate Atco Ltd., has agreed to buy the assets of Woodgreen Homes & Trailer Sales of Timmins, Ont.

Atco Structures & Logistics, which provides lodging and workspace for the natural resources and construction industries, said the acquisition allows it to expand into the “important’’ northern Ontario market.

Atco Structures president Harry Wilmot said the deal is a chance to extend the firm’s business in the mine-services sector.Woodgreen, which employs 19 people, has been operating in Timmins for more than 40 years.

The Atco Group of companies employs more than 7,700 people.
