Bird Construction to upgrade Fort McMurray water treatment plant

Bird Construction Income Fund announced Tuesday that a subsidiary of the fund has been awarded an $82-million fixed-price construction contract with the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo to upgrade the Athabasca water treatment plant, located in Fort McMurray, Alta.

The project is expected to be completed by fall 2012.
