Kingston, Ontario seeks input on park construction project

The City of Kingston, Ontario has scheduled a public meeting October 6 to get input on proposed renovations to the Artillery Park Aquatic and Fitness Centre.

The renovations are expected to begin in 2012.

Shoalts and Zaback Architects have been retained as the prime consultant for the feasibility review and detailed design of upgrades at the Artillery Park Aquatic Centre at 76 Ordnance St.

At the meeting, planned at City Hall starting a 7:00 p.m. October 6, an overview of the proposed upgrades will be presented. They include pool mechanical and filtration enhancements, accessible family change rooms and upgrades to the mechanical system.

The meeting will also offer participants an opportunity to address concerns and identify areas of improvement.
