VIDEO: Residential and Civil Construction Alliance of Ontario calls for infrastructure report card
As the Ontario election campaign enters the final days, the executive director of the Residential and Civil Construction Alliance of Ontario, Andy Manahan, is calling for a more “mature dialogue” on infrastructure.
Manahan said the good news of the election is that the three major parties seem to agree on infrastructure spending. However, Manahan said renewable energy policy is a wedge issue, given that Progressive Conservative leader Tim Hudak has promised to cancel an agreement between the province and Samsung C&T Corp.
Manahan said the province should have an infrastructure report card after the election, which includes goals and metrics that indicate whether the province is achieving them.
