Cascadero Copper gets option to acquire Sudbury, Ontario mining property

Cascadero Copper Corp. (TSXV:CCD) of Vancouver announced Monday it has entered into an option agreement that would allow it to acquire the Powerline gold prospect in the Sudbury Mining District, Ontario.

The firm is planning a property-scale soil geochemical survey, a geophysical survey and possibly core drilling. The property is in a belt of past gold producers in the Street and Scadding Townships with 31 contiguous units in four claims blocks.

The option agreement provides for cash, shares and an exploration commitment over a four-year term.
