Melloul-Blamey Construction to build $30 million retirement home in Cambridge, Ontario

The City of Cambridge, Ontario announced the groundbreaking of a $30 million retirement home, known as Dunfield Cambridge.

The home will be built by Melloul-Blamey Construction and when completed, will accommodate about 145 retirees in a six-storey, 98,400-square-foot building.

Designed by SMV Architects, Dunfield Cambridge will have a “building envelope that exceeds insulation requirement by some 25 per cent,” according to a City of Cambridge press release.

Located at Saginaw Parkway and Light Drive, Dunfield Cambridge will be constructed of concrete with a brick and stone exterior.
