Mine construction contractor Dumas appoints former De Beers executive Burger Greeff as CEO

TORONTO

Dumas Contracting Ltd. recently announced the appointment of Burger Greeff as Chief Executive Officer, beginning in 2012.

Daniel Dumas, the founder and current CEO of Dumas, will remain as director of Dumas and major shareholder.

Dumas is a full-service underground mining contractor and specialized in mine construction, mine development, production mining, mine services and engineering.

Greeff has over 18 years of management experience in mining and contract mining and joins Dumas from De Beers where he has held a number of senior management roles, most recently as CEO of De Beers Marine, the in-house mining contractor for De Beers marine mining operations.

Dumas founded the company in 1994 and will be principally focused on developing new business and further expanding Dumas' operations and service offerings.
