GT Medical acquires office buildings in Ontario

GT Medical Properties Real Estate Investment Trust announced Wednesday it has agreed to acquire three medical office buildings in Ontario for a total of about $10.6 million. The properties are in Lindsay, St. Thomas and Hamilton.

Tenants include family health teams, pharmacies and laboratories.

The sale is expected to close in January, 2012. Once it closes, GT Medical Properties will have acquired 10 buildings in 12 months.
