Ontario concrete industry presents lifetime achievement award to Colin Hoxby of BASF Canada

TORONTO

The Ontario concrete industry has presented its lifetime achievement award to industry veteran Colin Hoxby of BASF Canada for his “tireless” commitment to industry promotion over the past 30 years.

Hoxby was recognized for his ability to work with, and connect to contractors, consultants and concrete industry personnel alike and the “contagious, positive spirit” he brings to his work.

“Colin has dedicated all these years to the industry,” said colleague Luis dos Reis. “He is a well-respected individual who has impacted so many people during his career, whether through conversations or his contagious passion for concrete.”

The presentation was made during the Ontario Concrete Awards banquet Nov. 30.

The award for distinguished service was last presented in 2009, to Alain Belanger, longstanding secretary/treasurer of the Ontario chapter of the American Concrete Institute.
